Not just lost but Ball bad at LT.
Wasn't it he and Brandon Knight that year?

Seemed like two wgaf whiffs, but it would interesting to hear what changed it for him.

Yeah and I actually thought Steele was the worse of the two guys. I have no idea how the guy improved so much but it's impressive.

If you're going to slightly overpay someone, better that it's a guy with a great work ethic and professionalism. Especially when Zack Martin loves him.

Hopefully Steele isn't a turnstile this season after that injury. Guess the team is confident anyway.

I know they get these from the agents and that's not their concern, but when people like Schefter report these new deals I wish they'd tell us the cap hits the first few years.

I think it depends on the specifics though, which I'm guessing the reporters don't have. The agents probably don't want to give out the specifics because it's a lot less impressive than the total dollars.

The most impressive thing for me was how quickly he improved. It was night and day improvement between years 1 and 2.

Thats one of the things you can expect from Tech products. They are either the GOAT or raise their game to HoF worthy the second year. Guess we should have stuck with Garibay.

IT was. Honestly, I don't recall a player, at least not on the O lone ever making that kid of jump. I wish we could get half that return on higher drafted players. IM looking at you Bossman...

Jerry is notorious for rewarding players coming off of very bad injuries (Dak, Gallup, Pollard, Steele, etc.)
Let’s not forget Jaylon Smith. It’s a major gamble each time he does it, and it feels like he’s making the decision based on his gut or hopes rather than actual medical facts, X-rays notwithstanding
