Yeah they kind of have to. I just hope he's more reasonable this time around.
Yeah I'm not sure there is much choice unless you just want to go full rebuild.

I’d take a full rebuild over wallowing in early round exit playoff purgatory with a QB who isn’t good enough to go any further.Yeah I'm not sure there is much choice unless you just want to go full rebuild.

after last year, you'd think he would be more reasonable. Not a huge amount of leverage.Yeah they kind of have to. I just hope he's more reasonable this time around.
You told us that didn't matter. Win or don't win, nothing in between.
Stafford played on the Lions. I don’t think anything else needs to be said there.I mean that's fair but Stafford never sniffed a Superbowl for example until his what 13th season in the NFL when he was paired with the right coach and surrounding talent? I believe more in our ability to push for a Superbowl with Dak than I do our ability to cut bait and start with a rookie draft pick a couple years from now and then get to a Superbowl.
It’s amazing what happens when a team has a competent GM and an owner who stays out of the way of team decisions.Win one with Foles in 2017, come really close again three years later with a different coach and QB, and well-stocked again for the 2023 season. That's not an issue of a QB, it's an issue of a well-oiled organization run by people who know their shit. That's light years of difference between the Jerry and Dufus clown show.
I take a back seat to no one when it comes to despising the Eagles. I lived too close to the Philly stink for too long — I'm still having a problem washing the cheese steak and onions reek out of my clothes. But you have to acknowledge a superior organization when you see it.
With all respect, this would be a very dumb plan. And it's never going to happen.Stafford played on the Lions. I don’t think anything else needs to be said there.
And, I have no faith in our ability to even sniff a Super Bowl with Dak, so I’d take the draft picks.
You know’s dumber? Giving that fucking loser a contract extension, which keeps him on the team for 5+ more years. With all respect, this would be a very dumb plan. And it's never going to happen.
And take a dice roll on a QB in the draft. Come on, man.You know’s dumber? Giving that fucking loser a contract extension, which keeps him on the team for 5+ more years.
Agreed. With all respect, this would be a very dumb plan. And it's never going to happen.
Well, we don’t and won’t have that. Now what? It’s amazing what happens when a team has a competent GM and an owner who stays out of the way of team decisions.
I never said we were better run or they weren't good organizationally. Just reminding you that you claimed before second didn't matter -- you either win or nothing.Win one with Foles in 2017, come really close again three years later with a different coach and QB, and well-stocked again for the 2023 season. Also, roster turnover in the NFL happens extremely fast. If you spend 2 years getting a young QB up to speed, you're probably looking at only ~25% of the current roster being around once he's ready.I mean that's fair but Stafford never sniffed a Superbowl for example until his what 13th season in the NFL when he was paired with the right coach and surrounding talent? Correct, and that's even if you get lucky and get a good QB in the draft. Also, roster turnover in the NFL happens extremely fast. If you spend 2 years getting a young QB up to speed, you're probably looking at only ~25% of the current roster being around once he's ready.
Guy really needs another case of Jonny Blue or something. Can you even be considered a HOFer without getting near a Super Bowl appearance?Jerry just gave an interview where he implied that Dak is a Hall of Famer. The team surely has pretty much no leverage after that.
