My father took me and my brother to a Cowboys game at each of our 10th birthday. That happened to be the game we went to for my brother's birthday. Talk about a miserable experience.

I know the feeling. As a family Christmas present one year, my wife and I orchestrated a family trip (our adult children and their spouses) to Atlanta to watch Dak and the Cowboys play the Falcons. We had a fun weekend overall, but it was the Chaz Green game, so that part wasn't much fun.

Yeah, it was the worst. And all of us being Mississippi State fans, watching Dak get pummeled.

One fond memory of that game was watching my daughter (a wonderful young woman who is a casual football fan and who doesn't know much about X's and O's) start yelling at Garrett to get Green off of the field. Even she knew that Garrett was incredibly stupid.
