Elliott was the clear best RB in the league from 2016-18, it's just a shame that time was wasted with a shitbird HC, with 2017 being torpedoed due to the completely ridiculous and arguably coercive suspension from the league.
I agree with the meat of what you are saying but even in 2018 it was clear Zeke - though still excellent - didn't have that extra gear he had as a rookie (the 60 yard TD against Cincy, for example.). That said, you're right it was an absolute shame his best years were wasted with Garrett as HC. I wanted Garrett canned after the loss to GB in 2016, given how unprepared the team was on both sides. Given they already had a bye week it made absolutely no sense benching most of our starters against Philly in week 17 and I really believe that was a big part of why they came out so flat in the playoffs - on top of just bad coaching.

To hell with Zeke, look at the talent we had on the OL...wasted on an absolute droid of a HC.

Yep, I could argue that our 2014 and 2016 OL were one of the best units of all time, they just got screwed by Garrett sinking their peak, and Fredericks early retirement.

We had 3 HOF caliber OL for that very short period of time.

Garrett had huge seasons from both Murray in 14 and Zeke in 16 with absolutely nothing to show.

I'm not sure who would even argue against you on that. They were that good.

It's frikkin criminal. We went for so long not addressing the OL in the draft. Within a 4 year span they assembled that wall that allowed Murray to have the best statistical season of any Dallas RB ever.

Not only that but those guys were in their prime.
