Zeke takes care of himself but that's not the issue.

The issue is that he's already suffered physical wear and tear that can't be undone and he simply doesn't have the skills anymore to be a difference maker in the NFL.
There were games very early in the season when he had something, but then he took the hit to the knee against the Lions and it just went downhill from there.
It kinda hard to watch him degrade, he was once so good . That player has left the building and ain’t comin back .
I am afraid we got the best out of him (and Prescott) in his rookie year.

He'll never be what he once was, that's certainly true. No longer a game breaker. No longer an every-down back.

He's now a decent short yardage back with superior pass blocking skills. If the team wants him for this and limits his snaps to only this, I'm fine with it.

I have to admit that I'm a little curious about Cordarrelle Patterson, though. I haven't seen him play recently, but his stats still seem decent. He's nearly 33 years old and the Falcons must be thinking about moving on from him given their current roster. At his age, Patterson doesn't have much trade or market value. I wouldn't trust Moore to make much of Patterson, but McCarthy could be resourceful/creative enough. It'd be interesting to see.

Hell, I could name plays like the Hail Mary or the Griese sack that were before my time. Just because it happened before you were born or when you were too young doesn't mean you can't know about it.

Despite his flaws, at least Romo knew a little bit about history, specifically NFL history, not just Cowboys lore.

That was one thing that Parcells pounded into him was respect for the game. If you can't learn from the past, you really miss out on a lot of what makes the great ones great.

First, the video seems to cut off mid-sentence. It would be helpful to hear what came after.

Second, he was asked for his "'most fondest' Super Bowl memory". He was born in 1993. There's a decent chance that his earliest Cowboys memories begin with Quincy Carter. He doesn't have personal memories of the Cowboys playing in Super Bowls. What is he supposed to say? "I enjoyed watching the Seahawks kick butt that time."

If he were asked to name one of the greatest plays in Cowboys history, and he came up blank, I could understand the criticism.

You're an easy grader. I'm too young to remember seeing the Ice Bowl and SBs 5, 6 and 10, yet I know all about them. How is that possible? Oh right, the highlights are all over the Internet and TV. Or recapped in countless books. His age is no excuse for willful ignorance.

But those aren't memories. They're something you watched after the fact.

Or do you remember the civil war, too?

Maybe the source of this confusion is the meaning of the word memory.

Memory can mean personal memory, as in things/events the given individual remembers having experienced/witnessed personally.

Memory can also be more generic, as if a synonym of "moment in history."

since he throws his share of backbreaking picks, he should've cited Larry Brown
