Which they will happily give us when The Jer offers 2 firsts.
Only if Julio Jones falls through

His value, at the absolute most, is $4-5 million. If Stephen's dumbass brings him back for anything more than what is effectively a 1 year, $4-5 million deal, he can fuck right off.
And the only reason I'd rather do that than just cut him is because it'd save us extra against the cap with no impact next year.
Moore didnt try to exploit this guy's talents.

Ezekiel Elliott has leverage. If Zeke is released pre-June, dead cap hit $11.86M. Post-June release spreads dead cap hit with $5.8M 2023 and $6.0M 2024.
Im predicting Zeke comes back at $7M and and Jerry’s considers that a win since he doesn’t need to exert effort finding a FA replacement nor spending a draft pick
Unfortunately, you're probably right. He's one of Jerry's favorite sons. Jerry will probably come out of it feeling like he got a still-great player at a discount price.Ezekiel Elliott has leverage. That is anything but a win. This isn't a leverage situation. We shouldn't want him back.
But what value does a 5-6 carry per game short yardage specialist have? Especially when he doesn't play special teams. It's only a win from a cap perspective since it'd save us more against the cap both this year and next year, rather than outright releasing him.
The problem is the coaching staff's usage of him. If they use him as basically a glorified FB/short yardage back while adding another real RB to the fold, we're good, if they ignore RB completely and try to funnel him 15 carries a game then we're going to struggle if anything happens to Pollard again.

Not costing us $5-6M in 2024.

I think I see what you mean, but I meant what value on the field does he have? Next to nothing. So you're practically just wasting a roster spot. He's still a good goal line back (12 touchdowns last year), but yeah, that ain't worth $7M.I think I see what you mean, but I meant what value on the field does he have? I'd rather just have the hit be 6 mil + plus a 4-5th round rookie minimum cap hit and have a player who might contribute on game day.
