It hasn't just been the Giants though.
Our passing game has looked a lot better against more than just the Giants. It just looked elite against them.

I do agree with that.

I'm just saying it's probably closer to what we saw against Philly than against the giants.

Still good and an improvement over the SF game and earlier. I think they are making a concerted effort to lean on the passing game and in particular get the ball downfield more often, which I think was needed.

Listening to the Fan today I heard a couple of things that were interesting.

First Skip Peete told them on his way out that if they wanted to feature Tony Pollard then they would need to get a second RB. Team ignored that evidently.

Second the guys on the radio said that Pollard admitted 3 different times last year that he was a 15 carry guy and after 15 he was done. I don't know what the done means exactly. Either he is saying that is all he wants or he is admitting to what the doubters think of him.

Just more evidence that the FO dropped the ball on the position.
Pollards numbers are way down from last season. He’s not the guy. Might be the injury, might just be the fact he’s better as the No 2.

But he is overpaid. So he goes someplace else and we draft someone to be Dowdle’s caddy.

Or we resign him for something reasonable like 3/18 and don't feel like we have to spend a pick in the first 3 rounds on a RB.

I’m good with that. He’s not the home run hitter this season and it’s a good chance he might never be that guy again. So Jerry either rolls the dice and re-signs him for his current production or lets him walk.

Yeah I'd be ok giving him a one year prove it deal frankly. I don't want to get wrapped up in another Gallup situation where I'm banking on a bounce back from an injury that never comes. Especially not with a RB. If that means Pollard walks, than ok. It's sort of like LVE, let him go test the market, find that he isn't viewed as a top guy at his position by the rest of the league and then come back hopefully.

I don't think he's worth that, either. I would move towards a platoon style like the 49ers have had the last few years. Put the money in the O line,

Had a laugh at Stephen on the Fan talking about thr Rangers and their championship.

We just got to deliver one.
