To be clear...I don't think they move off of Dak after this season. I think they void his contract after the 2024 season.

My confidence is still not shaken.

This man said similar things about Quincy Carter in 2003.
Again... can you please teach me to whistle past the graveyard, too. :unsure

How many defensive offsides called in our favor so far?

HEEERE WE GOOOOOO

The more conservative offense is pretty evident even without PFF’s numbers.

The first month of the season I could rationalize why the were more conservative. But that SF game was pretty eye-opening.

While the Niners were aggressively pushing the ball 10+ yards down the field early and often, the Cowboys were content settling for short passes. The passive mentality of Dak coupled with the conservative (bland) play calling means scoring drives are likely going to have to be long, methodical 12+ play drives.

Good luck having any kind of sustained success vs elite defenses with that philosophy.

I thought McCarthy was pissed at go go go with the offense but in today’s NFL who gets whipped week to week by antiquated small ball offense?

Moore "scored too fast" or something.
:lol

I have to admit it sounded kind of stupid back then but I was so glad to get rid of Moore that I was not thinking. There was a reason McCarthy got fired and it was, well, this. This shit offense.

I think I had hoped we would bring in an offensive coordinator that could maybe be better...

I still stand by getting rid of Moore. This organization is just a cluster fuck. They look backwards in everything they do instead of forward. Just wait, though, in ten years we will have this seasons 49ers offense down pat

An offense like what Ben Johnson and the Lions are running would be ideal here, that's not a 49er offshoot but you see way more creativity and ingenuity there while maintaining a strong focus on a traditional running game.

The run and pass aren't as married up as the 49er scheme but it's still very forward thinking.

Moore didn't score too fast, but he did keep throwing it with big leads, like against Green Bay.
