They should be able to win the division since it's so poor but I don't see them as a significant threat in the conference.
Carr is fine, Olave is good and they have a few pieces on the OL but Kamara is close to being done and more importantly their defensive stalwarts are getting old and they have some key guys who are FA's.
Their defense is more or less built around Cameron Jordan and Demario Davis, both of whom are now 34, and guys like Davenport and Onyemata are FA's. After signing Carr to what I assume is at least $40M/year I'm not sure how they re-sign one, let alone both of them, and that's going to be a significant hit.
Carr also had better weapons with the Raiders last year and they missed the playoffs albeit in a very tough division, so there's that.
