Yup.
I don't think Dez gets enough credit for how good he was in his prime around here nor did people appreciate his attitude and leadership ability.
He is the closest thing we've had to a Michael Irvin presence on the sideline.
He is literally the only player I can remember since Irvin that used to walk around the sideline trying to motivate and fire up players on both sides of the ball.
Dez's problem was that he wasn't a great natural receiver -- he was 80% athleticism. So when his body started breaking down, he didn't have other things he could lean on to make up for what he losing athletically.
Still, he was an outstanding player for 4 years and I miss having him around.
