I mean we don't really need to spend money on another high-level edge when we have Lawrence, Parsons, Armstrong and Williams waiting in the wings.

Someone like Fowler who can play 15-20 snaps a game and give us 5 sacks is kind of perfect.

Yeah I mean 6 sacks as a reserve with no starts isn't bad at all. I have no complaints about Fowler last year. It's not like he was a starting player for us.

With TJ Edwards getting 3/19.5 and Quincy Williams getting 3/18 it seems the market for LVE is basically set.

3 years and somewhere around $6M/year, unless they want to go after Wagner they should be wrapping up a deal of that sort in the next few days.

But they'll probably spend a week sniffing their own farts before getting around to it.

This is actually a good strategy if they were 4th or 5th rounders.

Ultimately they did the right thing letting both walk for comp picks rather than paying for mediocre, marginal starters. But ideally not the best ending for 2nd/3rd rounders.
