Yeaaaaaaa, definitely don't like this. We'll see what he runs at the Pro Day but at this point I hope someone else takes him before we pick.

I hope this is just what we need to get what is a top 10-15 WR to 26.

If he runs really well at the Pro Day then I'll feel better but if he runs some mid-4.55 it'll be concerning since usually Pro Day times are a bit faster and he obviously would've been ducking the Combine.

I think the combine has become pretty damn fast for whatever reason. It's also why I think it's dumb for players to shy away from running a forty there. Hell skip everything else, go run your forty and then do everything else at your proday. The 40 is the big thing at the Combine. If you're worried that the combine is too exhausting or whatever, do the forty and shut it down. Just my opinion.

If he doesn't do any testing at all either at the Combine or Pro Day, not just vertical, he's dropping to at least 3 if not 4 on the WR list, and maybe behind a guy like Kincaid assuming he tests well.

I love that they always go to Josh Allen. But there are far more examples of QBs who look great throwing against no defenders that ultimately suck in the NFL. Zach Wilson being one of the most recent examples. I hope Richardson does look impressive though. To me he is at best a Justin Fields as a passer. And frankly he didn't even show that level of competence in college. But please, have him gone in the high first. Let other guys come to our pick.

I am curious to see if he is bowing out of all on the field stuff at the combine or just the 40. I don't really need a forty to know what I think of that guy. But at least go show off your skills. And if Hyatt goes out there and runs a 4.3 forty it's going to make some teams rethink the top receiver rankings. Hell if Flowers goes out there and runs a sub 4.4 forty as well frankly. I think there are 5 receivers at the top of this draft now and that order is far from decided. I think it would be a mistake for this kid to bank on his 2021 film being enough.

Shying away from that would scare me a little. Just gives too much of a diva feeling to it. I like competitors.

That's what I'm saying, if he's sitting out all testing at both events, it's an issue for me.

I get it when a guy is a lock top 10 or so pick, you have nothing to gain really, but this guy is at best the 2nd, maybe 3rd ranked WR who could even drop to 4th depending on how guys like Johnston, Flowers and Hyatt test.

He seems to be regarded as a back half of the 1st type player, he has plenty to gain with the potential to jump all the way up to the top ranked WR in the draft and potentially going in the top 15 if he tests well. If he sits everything out it seems like he has something to hide and may potentially be a diva as you say.
