I like OU so I'm supposed to love Mayfield, but I've never liked him. Thinks he's so much better than he is. I think he actually believes he'd have won a Heisman and gotten to the CFB playoff at Tech or any school because it was all about him, not because OU had incredible offensive talent around him.

With more humility he might have become a Brees-lite type, but he still holds the ball too long and overrates his arm and athletic ability like he always did.

I'm going to love it when the Cowboys sign Baker Mayfield as their backup QB.

Jerry loves marketable players with swagger.
You shut your whore mouth.

It would be entertaining.

I don't like him...at all. But the sheer sight of him doesn't send me into a rage.

He is exactly what Manziel would have been had he been able to obtain corporate sponsorship.

Just think, that talentless cocksucker with a stupid ass wife made more off those insurance commercials than most of us slobs will earn in our lifetimes.
PA Guy: Oh Baker....we're gonna need those keys baaaaaaaack!!!!

If you believe in him at all, might as well go ahead and get it over with.

The assumption has been, though, that you draft guys in the 1st and you have them for 5 years on this pay scale.

15 years ago he would have been making crazy money right out of the gate.

Seems like there needs to be a happy medium.

Maybe compromise with an escalation clause if they are the starting quarterback but that would have to be worked into the salary cap.

Yeah the truth is guys can renegotiate after 3 years and we are starting to see players force that to happen. Our very own Zeke pulled that shit. I guess if you start looking at it that way maybe the fifth year option for a first round pick isn't that important.

There is the thing with Murray is that he is bound with Kingsbury. This is it.

Tough play by his agent.
