Yeah and that's a high price to pay for a slot corner. But on the plus side the guy is really aggressive and a great tackler. I have no doubt Quinn would find great use for him the way he did Kearse. But still not ideal to me. This isn't a Kazee replacement for example.

I think he could be a Kazee replacement, he has the speed and range to play centerfield and he did it at Michigan at least part-time. Kazee was primarily a slot CB coming out of college too.

I wouldn't take a safety at 24 but given the play Quinn got out of our safeties this year I'd feel cautiously optimistic about it.

He could probably play safety at least as well as Kazee but that's not saying much. I think he was the weakest player in our secondary last year. His deep coverage was basically no help most of the year.

A safety in the first? I'll believe it when I see it. Ditto a huge DT.
Jordan Davis is what we need. This team is too stupid, stubborn, and blind to take him.

Any player can go bust, but his floor would still IMO be solid enough.

I just couldn't disagree more. I don't hate Walker but he is getting bumped way too high because of something other than what he did on the field.

Basically he is a well built athlete. But he isn't big enough to line up inside and he can't bend a corner for shit. He is basically a good run defender who can run stunts and twists. Useful absolutely, but you don't use a top 10 pick on that.

After devoting most of the day to watching a bunch of YouTube as well as skimming the Senior Bowl, E/W, NFLPA and now parts of the HBCU game, I am ready to enter draft season.

But some the lesser talked about guys I wikey are listed below:

WR Christian Watson, North Dakota State - He is what we pretend Wilson can be. Except taller and longer. So good.
WR Dai'Jean Dixon, Nicholls State - If you want a big WR who could surprise, you want this kid. But he has character issues.
WR Kyle Phillips, UCLA - I dunno how he fits but the bitch can get open and catch a football. He ate it up in the E/W practices.
OT Matt Waletzko, North Dakota - Needs refinement but appears to be very very moldable.
DT Eric Johnson, Missouri State - Got noticed at the NFLPA, got invited to the Senior Bowl as a late replacement and played well. Did not get a Combine invite, so he is your guy if you want a pissed off snub later on for the interior.
ILB Troy Andersen, Montana State - I like Muma more, but he could be a similar player.

CNN:

24. Dallas Cowboys
Central Michigan OT Bernhard Raimann
The Austrian-born Raimann, whose love for the game came from watching "Friday Night Lights" as a kid, lands with America's Team. Perfect. The Cowboys have not used a top-50 pick on an offensive lineman since Connor Williams in 2018, and the time might be nigh for one with Tyron Smith’s and La'el Collins' declines. Raimann is new to playing tackle but possesses the kind of rare traits to be a star in time.

0.0% chance.

Feels like the OT Raimann is getting propped suddenly.

A couple of personal preferences of mine for the 1st 3 rounds. I would love to see them take Kerby Joseph S IL. He is only 6' but has gorilla long arms. Wyatt from GA feels like a slam dunk if he is there at 24. Leo Chenal from Wisconsin is one I would consider. Preferably if we trade down from 24 or if he is there at our 2nd. I have a feeling his stock improves as the draft nears. If Skyy Moore lasts until the 3rd or 4th I would take him to add to our receiving corps. Dohnovan west is a big fella I would consider in the middle rounds as an interior OL.

I like Moore the more I have watched.

I think he is probably a slot only guy but that's ok. I'd actually love a really good slot receiver here. Maybe a little Randal Cobb like. I think he ran mostly short routes in college but I think Moore would become a big favorite of Dak in short order.

Short arms. Way too Connor Williams like for my taste. But hopefully not what Dallas likes anymore either.

Our front office, and I think McClay specifically, generally love measurables. Not at the expense of everything else but generally they tend to lean towards guys who have ideal measurables.

When they drafted Ball last year I think McCarthy mentioned that he had ideal size/length with 35+ inch arms.

There's no god damn way they're going to draft an OT with 33 inch arms in the 1st round.
