2022 Cowboys Free Agency Thread

Yeah, I don't like the way they're shitting on Amari.

But you know, they have to justify it to keep em off teh J's arse.

If he wants 11 on a 1 year deal I'd guess that a 2-3 year deal averaging 10-11/year would get it done.

But these fucking dumbos would rather give Dorance Armstrong 2 years averaging 6.5/year.
6.5 seems to be the ceiling.

"But we got 3 more top players with what we would have spent there."

No you fucking didn't you god damn liar.
He says this shit to rally the fan base and draw attention

No guile whatsoever.

I mean the entire division drafts before we do, two of them multiple times, yet I know Jones is being honest about targeting the OL.

It just cements the oppositions’ strategy to start a run on the position.

Maybe Jones is crazy like a fox, and wanting to spur that kind of reaction while secretly hoping for a special defensive player.

No way he’s that clever

Quantity over quality. Fucking retarded hillbillies

Yea they're completely delusional.

That quote from Jerry is the literal encapsulation of what I like to call the Olawale Doctrine, which is Stephen's guiding principle in FA strategy.

The Olawale Doctrine states that it's better to sign 5 Olawale's on 1 year/1.5 million deals than 1 impact player for 7-8 million/year.

There’s no Romo, Ware, and Witten to carry them to 8-8 or 8-9 or whatever.

Smith is in his last seasons. Lamb has the dropsies. Dak is just ok. Lawrence is old. Parsons and Martin are two guys.

I wonder if the reality of that has struck?

At least the draft pick will be higher next year. I think barring a miracle one of the division teams finally passes us

We play in an awful division so we may still may work our way to 8 or 9 wins but that's probably my prediction for next year. I think we will have a good defense and an offense that takes a few steps backwards. I think we will be further away from beating good teams but still be able to feast on shitty teams.
