Kayshon Boutte and another LSU WR have apparently thrown in the towel after 1 game.

Boutte is projected to be a 1st round pick next year. This would be a red flag for me if I were an NFL evaluator. Things get tough and your first reaction is to pout and take your ball and go home?

It'll be interesting to see how Brian Kelly handles this. Coaches can't drop the hammer like they used to because NIL and new transfer rules have balanced the power in CFB. 10 years ago these players would either get dropped on the depth chart or they would've been made game day inactives for a game or two.

Please tell me that Boutte pronounces his name like "BooTAY".

Hey, now they are getting paid, they can start being divas earlier.

Nabers was one of the main reason they lost last night. He might want to delete IG altogether.

No kidding. This NIL stuff sucks. Too bad they couldn't have let the kids make money off their actual NIL instead of just being bought and still had some transfer rules in place to keep it from being the Wild West.

Wow. Things are already falling apart.

I couldn't enjoy that win if I were a Carolina fan. That was brutal.

Mack Brown may have to sacrifice his DC.

He just fucking hired that DC. It’s Gene Chizik, he who won a National Championship at Auburn and did a very good job as Carolina’s DC in 2015 before stepping away to spend more time with family.

The Carolina defense is loaded with four stars at every level, especially DL. It’s young - very little senior talent and only some junior talent - but there are enough four and even five star Juniors and Sophomores on this defense that it shouldn’t be looking like the worst defense in college football.

I am hoping they are still learning Chizik’s system after the last DC, Bateman, apparently confused the shit out of them with a Belichick like complex defense. Because otherwise I don’t fucking know what they are going to do. They have high end talent and high end coaches.

But PS it’s far too easy to throw in the towel and go home. I get it, college sports make billions and the players can’t be completely controlled like before, but the pendulum has to swing back a bit for the good of the sport. The good of the team has to be a thing and sometimes that means a star player needs to be unhappy.

Wearing that jacket to a coaching PC is so non-Louisiana. :lol

I actually thought he did pretty well at ND considering their recruiting disadvantages, but this is such a bad fit.
