We needed a little luck too, like Godwin dropping that bomb and the INT that went off Fournette's fingertips.

Probably mostly true, but Brady was scoring 7 there if he had to. It’s what he does.
 
Specific to a high-offensive game like this, this is where analytics would be interesting.

Chances better going for 4th-and-6 or kicking a FG and, if FG successful, giving Tom Brady 1:26?

My gut says 4th and 6
 
Whatever. Yeah this team is good enough to win the Division. I’m so fucking tired of seeing the little mistakes and yes the cheating by the refs, I’m sorry, that is what it is. I’m not saying they are handing out memos in the league office but just like it’s a fact that Jordan got the calls or LeBron gets the calls, it’s a fact that some teams get the calls and some teams don’t and we are FUCKING ALWAYS on the shit end of the stick when it comes the penalties. After we all witnessed the league’s NY Giants owners bold faced lie their way to a Zeke suspension there is no reason to trust them anymore.

Jerry said something similar after Quincy lost to Tampa 10-6 opening day as a rookie. We went 5-11

I’m pissed we lost with such an extreme turnover advantage. The Godwin gaffs kept us in it, but Brady beats anyone if he’s playing like that. The FG after the long drive to start the 2nd half… really hurt.

We had almost no pressure all night… 0 sacks, just not cutting it.

We got 3 bigtime turnovers and Dak played really well, but no running game seriously disappointing

it all evens out, or was it skill instead of luck that gave the bucs the ball inside our 50 when one clanked off of ceedee's hands along with his other drops?
 
We are still missing a game changer on Defense. An elite corner or pass rusher would do wonders.
 
So we lost, we should have won and I honestly don't feel bad about it at all. First game back for Dak and I saw no rust. And let's face it, if the defense plays this well all year we are going to the playoffs. Hard to feel bad about that.

Sucks to lose but we beat most NFL teams with that performance. This game gave me hope that we can not only make the playoffs but make some noise. This defense is only going to get better. They played a really excellent Bucs offense and held their own.

Now Brown, our kicker and our run game still need work but we were without Zack Martin going against a stellar run defense. Clearly we knew McGovern is a good pass blocker but he is no Martin in the run game. Legotron I have no idea what got into him but hoping that was just awful rust. He cost us the game.
 
This was just a damn good game. Aside from Zuerlien, I think we can say both sides of the ball proved they can fight to the bell with anyone. Hate to lose at the end like that, but that was Brady out there.
I think this team proved a lot tonight
 
Three debatable 4th downs that all went to FG attempts
  • 4th and 3 at TB 13. Missed FG, mid-2nd qtr
  • 4th and Goal at TB 3. FG, first drive of 3rd
  • 4th & 6 at TB 30. FG, final drive of game.

We do not get the calls and it is institutional, not coincidental. It’s the same reason they targeted Zeke and suspended him. The league is headquartered in the northeast and it’s power brokers in the league office are loyal to the northeast teams like the Steelers, Giants, and Eagles.
