2021 Season, Week 2 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Chargers | 09/19/21

That was brutal.

Yeah just awful. He played ok most of the game but I don't know what goes through his head sometimes. It's like he is afraid of contact. I can't wait for the day he is gone. Frankly if Parsons wasn't needed at end this doesn't even happen. Wish we had 2 Parsons but even Cox who isn't a great run defender wouldn't fuck that up so bad. And he is better in coverage.

Would anyone trade Parsons for either corner we had targeted? This guy….

I wouldn't have traded him for either one two weeks ago, now he's 5th in the league in QB hits and basically just played like a Pro Bowl edge rusher while having to operate as an emergency DE in week 2, so you tell me.

Look at Jaylon on this play. I told you all he isn't dragging himself out of this hole. He is still awful.

That, and LVE got covered up also. Dumb and Dumber.

Im shocked at how good he is so soon. No fuckin way would I trade him. Those teams did us all a big favor taking those two ahead of us.

Must have missed this while I was golfing. Don't remember seeing Lamb run out of the backfield. I like it.

Sometime during the offseason I posted a few videos of him from college showing advanced hand use/pass rush technique (for a LB) where you see him effectively using rip and swim moves, even sometimes in conjunction with a chop or club.

That's advanced technique/pass rush plan that a good amount of pure DE's don't have coming into the league. To see him already using these moves, sometimes a series of them, in his 2nd NFL game is quite literally preposterous.

That's what Baldinger was talking about when he said "where did he learn this stuff?", because there are guys who take 2-3 years in the league before they're seamlessly stringing moves together like that.

Once again the officiating was horrid. So many holds not called on both sides.
But my pet peeve is the ticky tack PI calls. The play yesterday was a prime example-that was a great play and a subsequent INT wiped away.
The refs have become ultra sensitive on these calls, and it really can cost a team a game. They should have left the replay official in place for those calls.
