His acceleration to the QB is just so impressive. The pass rush move was great but once he beat his man he was like a missile coming for the QB. A lot to be excited about with this young man. He isn't just your typical off the ball LBer which is why no one had a problem with him being a top pick. In hindsight he probably should have been an even higher draft pick.

I didnt realize it was his junior year that he sat out. Fuck... that helped us a ton.

Yeah that whole season really messed with the draft but to our benefit.

Yea and he was relatively raw considering he was a DE in high school and just moved to playing more traditional LB at Penn St., so he basically had just 2 years at the position.

He was good as a freshman, dominant as a sophomore (would've been the Big 10 DPoY if not for Chase Young), and if he had backed that up with a similarly dominant junior season he would've probably went in the 5-8 range.

we're getting basically his senior season, and he's tearing shit up at this level. Give him another off-season.
