Pecan pie cheesecake is no replacement for pecan pie.

I do love pecan pie. I feel like as a kid my grandma always made it and I never wanted it. I'd always go for her apple or rubarb custard. It wasn't until later in life I realized what an idiot I was. And now my grandma lives 6 hours away and I rarely get the chance for a good slice.
