It really is remarkable how the roller coaster in SF has been since the 1990s.

They get really close to being elite with the Harbaugh years and then just imploded.

Their OL & DLs went to shit pretty quickly. That's the reason they're in decline now.
 
If season now ended, Garoppolo's FA value would be low to where it was preseason.

However, he'll still garner interest as a starter, guessing from Washington, Denver, New Orleans, maybe Miami. Hell, maybe Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh if their respective QBs retire.
 
How exactly do you add two big personalities into one locker room, halfway through a good season, and think that is a great idea?

Is this like an L.A. thing where these dummies just think they can figure it out on the fly?

And how does the "genius" in McVay handle it?

The coaching at both position groups is just as bad as the personnel.

And while they won't admit it, losing Saleh was a blow. Ryans ain't got it.
 
Shanahan has the most creative run designs in the league, IMO.
