I think all professional football teams have these "fixers". You know damn good and well the Cowboys have had them over the years.

And since he wasn't playing nice with the ownership, here we are.

It is more than coincidental that these things come out as they are embroiled in a staredown.

I just don't know what the Texans ownership thinks is going to happen?

He's going to get so rattled by all this that he plays for them?

If this is remotely true, it just means he holds out and doesn't get paid.

Conversely, the longer this draws out, the less value he has as chattel.

Pretty weird dynamic going on.

Yeah, what NFL team is going to cough up 3 firsts with all this going on? You may have just flushed those 3 picks down the toilet as remote as that may be.

The Texans braintrust, if this is all true, never had any intention of trading him. They intended to slander the guy until he came crawling back to play.
