Butler is the guy who inspired Mike Shanahan to create what was basically a new one-cut rushing offense based on timed low OL blocks in time for the 1997 Superbowl.

So you've gotta think there's something to it.

Where did you get this crazy talk from? :lol
you’re saying Terrell Davis ran for 1100 (1995), 1300 (1996) and 1500 yards (1997) during the regular season, then Shanny implemented their one-cut style and TD goes 2000 yards the next season?

If I have to pick my finalists with my 5 inductees in bold

  • Linebacker DeMarcus Ware
  • Linebacker Patrick Willis
  • Wide receiver Torry Holt
  • Wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester
  • Safety LeRoy Butler
  • Safety Darren Woodson
  • Wide receiver Steve Smith
  • Defensive tackle Richard Seymour
  • Defensive end Jared Allen
  • Linebacker Zach Thomas
  • Offensive tackle Tony Boselli
Trollloololooolllllll!!!!!

One of the most profitable entity in out country can't keep their website up and running like normal? Maybe they are paying Goodell too much and should do some better budgeting?
That is one reason I stopped doing the primers is that the All-22 has been broken since forever.

If the Cowboys somehow make it all the way and win the Super Bowl, I will record a video acting like that jackass wearing the shorts and flip-flops doing the knee slapping.

I'll record it and I will post it here for all of you to see.

Save this post.

And he did it in two weeks.

… and Davis got a migraine

but they won anyway, built off the system, and paired it with a spread offense in the off-season.

And yet he still wasn't as good in pass coverage as Woody nor was he as well rounded a player.

Woodson was a significantly better all around safety than both Lynch and Butler but doesn't get the praise that those other two do.

This is where it actually hurt Woody a bit to have been so selfless. He never ever did shit for attention and it's caused people to overlook how great he was and how he was the best safety in football for at least 3 years in the mid 90s while those other two were also playing.
Exactly right.

Butler was the more feared tackler, but Woody did everything and was clearly better in coverage, faster, and nearly as hard a hitter.

I always felt Butler was overrated because he was not as well-rounded, but over time I came to accept that Butler played his role— what was asked of him— really well.

Has anyone heard of Kellen Moore is taking the early interview with Jacksonville?

I wouldn’t be upset if he hit the job, I’d guess he has a great shot because they’re probably looking for someone offensive minded to work with TLaw(bust).

I think it's way too early to tag Lawrence a bust. The kid has all the tools. Unfortunately he's trying to use those tools playing for Jax. I hate seeing such talented players waste their first 4-5 years with poorly run teams.

I was not overly impressed with him in college and never understood the 1st overall hype.

But Jacksonville has become like a death sentence in recent years

mainly him steering the Clemson ship while it peaked. That and being a tall white QB with golden hair and a Cali vibe.
