Yeah this is just nonsense. You don't give away a borderline probowl OT in their prime because of 10 mil. Charge the credit card or do whatever you have to. The only reason he is coming up as a potential cut is because he lost a bunch of guarantee in his contract for next year. I seriously doubt our O-line coach is doing anything other than what he believes is best for the team right now.

I've also read and heard that they want to get Collins up to speed and don't want to disrupt the timing of the O-line. So my guess is everyone is reading way too much into this.

Kind of messed up that he had to get shot up to feel decent.

If he is still smoking weed, he has to have something wrong for him to feel that way.

And it might not been the best strategy to tip off the opponent that the entire left side of your body is compromised.

After listening to several interviews with him, he is pretty intelligent. But he is also a bit too honest. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I still say Ball looked great in his highlights. Really good feet, which is the hard part. But he is tall and kind of lanky, and probably needs to add NFL strength and weight.

Hard to even comprehend this... but it's almost like we have enough depth that we can afford to semi-redshirt a promising prospect instead of having to throw anyone with any semblance of talent into the fire.
