Oklahoma finally puts in the more gifted playmaker at QB and instant TD.

Yep true freshman. He has wheels, as you just saw, and he's good from the pocket.

He clearly gives the OU offense a spark and playmaker they're lacking, but Lincoln Riley probably doesn't want to rock the boat and submarine Rattler's draft stock.
 
Bijan Robinson looks like Reggie Bush out there. No cap.
 
Finally! I'm not expecting a miracle today but at least we have a guy in there who can create on his own.

 
35-20 and we're not even to halftime yet.

I guess Texas and OU wanted to have the most Big 12 sort of game before they run off to the SEC.

I wasn't crazy about the Sarkisian hire because I'm not sold he's going to be a good HC, but he is without question the first legit offensive mind we've had at Texas since the glory days.

Also, it helps that for the first time in ages, we've got real talent at the skill positions on the offensive side of the ball.

For years, it's like we couldn't hit on a WR or RB to save our lives.

I think what's going on this season is that all of those things are coming together at just the right time and that's why Texas is enjoying their best offensive season in more than a decade.

In my defense, I didn't think Lincoln Riley would have the balls to bench Rattler. I thought he'd allow him to keep farting around like he's done all year.

I thought he got away from Robinson too much in the 2nd half and that's what allowed Oklahoma to get back into the game. I get Oklahoma was keying in on him more but he's the type of guy you have to keep feeding. Plus he'd already shown 3 or 4 times today that he can turn what should be a TFL into a 10+ yard gain.

It kind of reminded me of something Jason Garrett would do.

I'm sure this will be a topic of discussion in Longhorn circles this week.
