2020 Season | Week 2 | Gameday Chatter | Falcons at Cowboys | 9/20/2020

Anyone realize that with the two tackles we had playing, Dak was sacked just once? That's impressive I'd say.

To be fair the Falcons lost one of their top 2 edge rushers in Takk McKinley, but at the end of the day we were playing two UDFA's with about 14 combined months of NFL experience and they still had Dante Fowler and Grady Jarrett, so yea.

Nothing against Atlanta personally, they are just another conference opponent as far as i’m concerned, but damn was it great going to some of their forums just reading the reactions. Not as good as when we beat the Eagles or Washington, but still good nonetheless.

I said it multiple times during the game in this thread that all things considered, the line played really well.

Game balls
Here's who I would give them out to:

Offense - Dak, Schultz, CeeDee
Defense - Joe Thomas, Diggs
ST - Zuerlein
Hard to argue any of that.

I'm still in utter shock they didn't jump on that ball.

I think they were worried about it popping up, I guess, and thought it wasn't going to make it 10 yards. Watching it live, I thought it was a shitty kick that wasn't gonna make it 10 yards. But it kept going and going. Turf...

Yeah, right off his foot it sure didn't look like it was going 10 yards. Then it took a right turn.

You must've been hard pressed to find a second player on defense, because Diggs had numerous rough moments yesterday.

Yeah but he was against some of the best WRs in the NFL. He made 6 tackles, played physically and nearly got a pick. But yeah...

Joe Thomas was all over the field. I'd even go so far as to say he earned a starting role the rest of the year.

and still those dumb asses stood there with their collective head up their ass watching the ball like morons.
