To be fair, we've been in a ton of these type of games with Garrett and yes, didn't win many of them last year. However, Garrett wouldn't have wrecklessly gone for those 4th down fake punts. I kind of liked them but they hurt us bad and we were chasing the whole game because of those bad decisions. So who know what the result would have been but other than KM, it was not a stellar coaching day for team McCarthy.
 
We're about one more OT injury away from trading for Chaz Green.

I can't remember winning any of them last year

I liked the fake punt the first time around. The second one was a terrible design.
 
Joe Thomas was second on the team in tackles, second on the tea in TFL, and tied for first on team in QB hits. I think he has earned his place on this defense.
 
Although, Jaylon did have more tackles by 1.

Yeah he looked great. He at least seems to get this scheme.

I think the whole thing from the start had them confused as hell. The football was just laying on the ground to start. Glad we tried something different as opposed to the usual onside kick everyone does.
