The concussion protocols are set by the league, not the team. He will have to be cleared by an NFL doctor, not a team doctor.

I was wrong. It doesn't have to be verified by an NFL doctor, just an independent physician that isn't associated with the team.

it will probably take alot for him to miss.

Regardless I just find it hard to believe the NFL would let one of the biggest names miss one of the bigger games if they can find a way. Now if we were talk about one of the other lesser players their season would most likely be over.

Yeah he got choked and had his neck twisted. It looked like his circulation was cut off and he almost passed out, but it was actually his nerves. I was surprised to hear it was a concussion since he never hit his head.

The symptoms probably overlap, so no way a check in that moment could have safely put him back in the game.

:lol Funny reading the comments after the NFLs news of neck injury directly conflicts with this doctors assessment of obvious concussion.
