A band that I really liked in the 90s that just flatout disappeared was Silverchair.

I think they were like 16 when their debut album came out, so you'd think they'd have had a long career but they just seemed to disappear.

It’s like Jerruh and Jimmuh split marked the downfall for everything else in the 90s, not just the Cowboys.

Everything after became too money driven, exploitative, over-produced/corporate, contrived and ‘business decisions’
