you dont have a choice about who takes over, but your time and energy are yours to spend however you choose. You may find other interests besides the Cowboys.

Same here. I still hope for better than we receive, thank God I have my memories. They’ve sustained me during this quarter century drought

Hes not the second coming of Witten, but he's come along nicely this season and will pair nicely with Jarwin going forward.
 
Wilson played well, had some breakdowns in the passing game, to be fair. He's coming along nicely, though.
 
Wilson is probably best suited to play more as a box safety. He's already shown a really good ability to blitz and impressive physicality as a tackler. Not to say he should never be in deep coverage but he'd probably be best next to a rangy FS type that allows him to come down into the box more.

Sadly Woods doesn't seem to be that, so hopefully they can find one in the offseason.

By the way, Woods had a single tackle on the day.

I feel like we the fans have been asking for a true center field type safety for about a decade, probably longer.

I don't think Wilson is that. I see more of a box type safety. But, if we can get a center field type to complement him, then our safety position would be set for a while. Wilson is the real deal.

Wilson can play the Barry Church role well, IMO.
