So when do people get taken to the woodshed? The man in the mirror comes out before Thanksgiving, what a time to be alive.
So when do people get taken to the woodshed?
When we're 3-12.
I hope it's 2-13. I'm really struggling to even justify watching the games at this point. I just want to fast forward to the draft. I guess I have the luxury now of not organizing my entire weekend around watching the Cowboys game. I'll catch what I catch, enjoy my weekend to it's fullest instead. It's almost liberating.
The only reason I'm still watching is to hopefully see a few defensive players emerge (or re-emerge) as pieces to build around for the next few years so that we don't need 9 new defensive starters next year.
I'm basically just talking about Lawrence, LVE, and Diggs as possible cornerstones, along with guys like Aldon, Gallimore, Donovan Wilson and some of the younger CB's as passable pieces.
A bonus would be if guys like Biadasz and Schultz continue to look like long-term pieces.
I want this offseason to be about the defense and OL... I'm ok with the 2021 TE stable being: Jarwin, Schultz, and Bell.we should be setting up for next year, Gallup and CD getting more reps, Dalton and trying to re set the TE corp. Looking at the lines for next year, who stays, who goes.

Yep, it's like watching preseason games. I'm just watching it to see how some of the guys are coming along. I don't care about winning.
Not only a lack of caring, but I think most would agree the losses are preferable, even if you aren't rooting for them with enthusiasm.
1. Eagles 6-9-1
2. Redskins 5-11
3. Giants 4-12
4. Cowboys 3-13
I'll take that.
And honestly, having a last place schedule next year would be kind of nice. I know it doesn't make a massive difference but it can't hurt. Healthy Dak throwing to these three receivers, healthy O-line and a rebuilt defense and things are looking good.
