I think Gallimore will be fine although it's a bit concerning that he can't even get onto the gameday roster with the defense being historically bad over 4 games.

I dont know if Gallimore is necessarily under-performing, like say Crawford and Poe. Green, yes, but give the guy some reps regardless. DT is a black hole it appears anyway. Hill seems to be the only one worth a shit.

I think some of the young guys never got a real chance to compete for playing time because of a lack of offseason and preseason. It's hard to evaluate guys like this during no pad practices essentially. So unfortunately Gallimore won't get a real chance until someone gets hurt and our hand is forced.

McCoy and Crawford got hurt. Hill has been coming along, but you'd think Gallimore would have more plays even as a backup.

DT's take time, but it takes reps for that time to matter.

Collins spent most of that early time rehabbing, and ended up OK. I want better than OK from these high draft choices.

Hill rarely saw the field last year.

I don't agree with that at this point.
Hill is just the tallest midget.

He is all active and getting off his blocks, but it is useless. He is not finishing the deal.

Gallimore is a similar prospect. Just out of control and mindless. No physical discipline.

If these two are our future with the interior of our defense, God help us.

Okay, Carnac.

Check back with me in a couple of years.

I will be glad to admit I am wrong.

The thing here is not just development.

I don't think that either player wants it enough.

You can tell that shit right away. Both are soft.

The entire defense is soft except for maybe Aldon Smith and Diggs, unfortunately.

Diggs is one player I actually believe it's all going to click for soon. Several times he's in the right position and has just not quite made the play.
