I get it, I wouldn't trade him away either. Kirk, Isabela and Hopkins should be your 3 WRs for the long haul.
I'm not saying they wouldn't trade him even, just that I bet it'll be quite a bit more expensive than we think. If I was them I'd consider it since this is a wr heavy draft but for nothing less than a 2nd, and I see SJ balking at that and finding someone cheaper

Look at the WRs who went for second round picks this offseason. A team would have to be retarded to give up a second for Kirk. And I like Kirk.

Well tbf OBrien only had one wr1 to trade away for peanuts

Also why would Arizona put themselves into a position of needing to find another wr when they already have a good one unless they win on the trade

Then they should trade with Dallas. They will undoubtedly win.

If their price is a second for Kirk. When WRs like Hopkins and Cook went for a second, they might as well not bother. Why trade a second for Kirk when their will be more talented guys available in the second round of this draft?

Kirk was better last year than Cooks, you can't base any future trades on ones OBrien was involved with because he's batshit crazy and appears to be actively sabotaging the Texans.

edit: And better wrs than him available in the 2nd is definitely arguable

Ickes is an idiot, sure we would be better in 2020 but you can't just keep flipping picks for high salary guys. I'd give up a 4 for Kirk but a 2nd? On top of Adams who we'd be paying 15/16 a year for?

No chance, in 2 years he's gone or you're paying him at least 7-8 a year and you'd barely have any firsts on a rookie deal from the last 5 drafts.

As for Adams, I'd 10000% give up 17 for him. He's not the rangy FS who gets 4-5 picks a year we've all wanted for 15 years but he is fine in deep/single high coverage, can handle TE's out of the slot with ease and is literally the best box safety in the league.

You'd basically be trading for a guy in April 2020 who's at least 75% likely to be on the 2020 All-Decade team.

A WR averaging 10 ypc doesn't impress me nearly as much as you. That's a lot of screens for short yardage.
