Of course. Got his money and some security.

Yeah he has sort of been up and down in the later portion of his career. His stats were good last year but moving to a 3-4, a defense I don't think he is that great of a fit for, will probably have him dropping off some. I seriously doubt he lives up to that contract. Not saying I didn't want him back because I did but it's not a massive blow. I just hope we continue to work in free agency and don't call it good.

Gregory has done not much more than flash his talent. In the right situation I could see 6-8 sacks. I think Quinn will have around 8, and there is no comparison in cost and age-related injury risk.

Gregory might get fined a third of his salary, but he won’t be suspended.

Gregory has his faults but he has the speed and burst to terrorize as a pass rusher. We saw some games of that in 2018. It's just sad that it took until the guy was 27 for the NFL to realize their bullshit rules.

Anyway I'm still worried about DT even with old man McCoy.
He also has incredible bend... there was a video of him running tight circles around a hoop... he looked like Apollo Ono on short track.

I've always been a big fan of Gregory's talent. Just hope he stays healthy and is ready to play lots of snaps. I'm ok using guys like Jackson and Armstrong in a rotation but I don't think they are impact players.

I actually love Gregory as a talent, but let's be real. He has 7 career sacks in 28 games, he's missed 3 seasons in 5 years and he hasn't played at all since the 2018 season.

It's retarded to rely on a big contribution from him.
I agree that we shouldn't rely on him. We should act like he is a bonus if he comes back. But, he damn sure could be a bonus if he does come back. That can't be dismissed. Go into the draft/FA like he isn't on the planet.

Got to wonder how injured players are getting quality rehab with facilities closed.

Private physicians at private facilities (The Star). Shouldn't be too hard. It's not like everyone is completely locked down and not allowed to go outside.

Just off the top of my head, in no particular order... Mel Renfro, Everson Walls, and Cornell Green.

EDIT: Forgot that Walls was an UDFA. Terrence Newman then? Hell, I don't know.

A lot of people made the same mistake with Walls.

furthermore, no mention of Dorsett. Herschel was good, Dorsett was great.
