Instant pick-me-up.
That was a very awkward, flukish hitRomo got hurt behind that same OL. And the hit that put him out in that preseason game vs Seattle wasn't even a vicious hit.
No matter how great an OL is playing the qB is going to take hits at some point and Romo could no longer withstand those hits. The guy's body just gave out on him.
He definitely made his share of mistakes. Too bad he had literally no guidance outside of his first three seasons.

I'm surprised that Deion wasn't listed as a starter back then. I looked it up and he actually played in the game and got a pick off of Aikman.Scott Case.
Damn.... He was part of the Falcons secondary during the Glanville years.
Case, Brian Jordan, Deion, and Tim McKyer.
Pretty solid group.
He had a contract dispute going on with them until late August. That was his first interception.I'm surprised that Deion wasn't listed as a starter back then. I looked it up and he actually played in the game and got a pick off of Aikman.
From what I can tell that was Deion's first career interception.
hes had time to keep in shape for sureI mean if he is in shape the dude can rush the passer for sure.
I mean if he is in shape the dude can rush the passer for sure.
But we shouldn't be counting on him or penciling him in as the starter already.
The guy should be viewed at as a luxury and should plan to address that position as if he won't be available or won't pan out.
This is where we really really need this new coaching staff to keep the front office from making the dumb personal decisions that were so common during the Garrett era.
As well as 30 year old Quinn, minus the mega inflated deal.I mean if he is in shape the dude can rush the passer for sure.

Gregory played literally 2 games in 2 years during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, and then in 2018 he put up 6 sacks as a rotational edge-rusher. He was extremely rusty early in the year but by the end of the season his impact wasn't that far off from Lawrence's.
As long as he's healthy he should be a valuable rotational edge-rusher in nickel/dime.
Gregory can rush the passer as well as Quinn? I don't agree.
I remember an amazing burst on a sack against I think the Lions. Good lord, he went from being stood up by the lineman to on top of the QB in a millisecond. It was amazing.Gregory has his faults but he has the speed and burst to terrorize as a pass rusher. We saw some games of that in 2018. It's just sad that it took until the guy was 27 for the NFL to realize their bullshit rules.
Anyway I'm still worried about DT even with old man McCoy.
I’m projecting a decline for Quinn
