So now we have Awuzie, Lewis, Brown, Diggs, Canady and a 4th round pick on top. They have to be thinking about having one of these guys cross-train at free safety.

Robinson has played the position before, and has good size and ball skills for a deep safety type. I wouldn't be surprised if we just took our 'safety' prospect, with the team liking him more than what was left at the position.

When Fulton is #2 it doesn't get me that excited.

Meh, hopefully this means we can ignore CB in the first 3 rounds for the next 2-3 years.

We are constantly drafting them, and the talent gap between each round for the position is not great. A second rounder is not much better than a third rounder.

That is not true at DT. The last good 3T was Madubuike. After that you aren’t going to find that quick first step. He was a huge value for Baltimore at 71.

Gallimore kind of has it, but usually doesn’t. I’d rather have had Madubuike and whatever 3rd round CB fell to our spot.

Yep.

At this stage, if you find an ascending player who has ST utility, that is what helps a team win more games.

Dane Brugler had Robinson listed as his 13th ranked corner (10-14 were rated basically equally), a 3rd-4th round pick, and 98th overall. So, the value was certainly there.

True, but only because he’s a pass rusher. Dallas will pay pass rushing DEs and 3T DTs.

Dallas doesn’t value the 1T at all. Gallimore is nowhere close to the 3T Madubuike is and not as good a 1T as Fotu.
