They were saying on philly radio this morning that Roseman did try to trade up to Atlanta but the Falcons were asking too much. They were speculating that Atlanta's asking price might have been the eagles' 1st plus a second.

In addition to the Raiders going CB...With Lamb going to Eagles, possibly Falcons feared Cowboys taking CB, too. So, losing two CBs with the trade down to 21.

Steep price to pay, sure. But honestly, I think the difference between Lamb and Reagor is worth a 2nd.

Think about it this way... If the Eagles would have had to use only their 2nd to go up to around 10 for him, people would have said it was a good trade for them.

The night may end with some Maker's Mark and a cigar around a fire out back. Or with some tequila shots.
