I laugh at the hypocrisy of coaches like Shannon. They'll throw shame on the players for looking out for their best interest by skipping out on a meaningless game. Yet coaches do it all the time when they land jobs elsewhere and no one bats an eye.

Yep. Coaches bail and it is okay.

I think each of the cases where a player chooses to sit out can be evaluated on its own merit.

Guys like Grier could have made some headway. Some of these others, not so much, they are pretty much are just avoiding injury.

I honestly believe Trevor Lawrence looks like the doucheist player in college football.
 
Now Jerry Tillery is a guy I would love to see around our spot in the second round. Probably won't happen, but he's a good kid.
