2017 Free Agency Thread

It's one thing for a player to get big. But Lacy just got straight up fat. And the problem in the NFL is that a team can't use this time of year to really whip him into shape. The players are just kind of out there on their own this time of year.

Surprising they'd go with him over Adrian Peterson. Is he just washed up?

Peterson comes with more baggage. Higher profile, might have an issue sharing carries with two or even three other backs. And yeah he could be washed up too.

Looking at what Lacy got guaranteed, that $5.5 makes him the 9th highest paid back for next year per Sportrac.

That's a lot of cheeseburgers.

Watch the Pats turn this guy into gold.

Also said in the same interview, the team was a definite "contender".

Surely not. Right?

That would be awesome. Come on home, Newmsie.

Will be great to take ol' #41 out of storage.

Put him at safety Ty-Law/3-4/hybrid:rock

I actually wouldn't hate bringing Newman back on a one year deal if we aren't counting on him to start

Vikings resigned Newman. Guess it wasn't really a contender after all.
