I think Fisher is taking liberties with what Garrett said at the press conference, which for those who didn't hear it would more accurately be portrayed as, (paraphrasing) "we have no plans to work out kickers at the moment but it is possible as the week goes on."

I'm sure that is the case. Just don't know if that medical report said he may be able to play this year.
Also look at his freaking guns, looks like he has been staying in killer physical condition.

The last thing I want to see us do is rush him back too soon given his overall potential.
It was a nasty injury and we need that thing 100% before he returns, if he ever does.

All jokes aside, when was the last time Jerry was right about any player's condition?
Just this season alone, he's already struck out terribly.
Romo's back was fine, then a few days later it turns out he's out for 8 weeks.
Dez isn't expected to miss anytime, he misses at least 1 game.
DeMarcus Lawrence is dealing with a back/muscle issue, Lawrence is like "WUT?".

I mean I'd trade him for anything I could get but otherwise I guess you could always just leave him on PUP/IR correct? Either way his contract is up after this year and he is gone. I certainly wouldn't use a roster spot on him.
