I viewed the Prescott pick as a project QB. I saw him as a player that some Pro formations under his belt but was a rookie who would get his learning on the sidelines and the bench.

The Year Of the Cowboys rolls on. The NFL has announced ongoing vote totals for the Pro Bowl, and you’ll never guess who’s at the top of the list for 2016.

Cowboys rookies Ezekiel Elliott (681,361 votes) and Dak Prescott (607,621 votes) lead all players, including Tom Brady, who’s ranked third and nearly 100,000 votes behind Prescott. Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown and Oakland’s Derek Carr complete the top five. The full 88-man playoff fields will be announced on Dec. 20 in (of course) a primetime special on NFL Network.
