Going in isn't illegal but the league is obviously going to be quick to test him after shit like this. And for a team that has players suspended for weed the other guys should be staying as far away as possible from this shit.

Yeah, the place is "legal". But not for an NFL player, it isn't.

You can't test a player randomly for anything like this, unless he is in the treatment program he is protected from random testing by the NFL.

Yeah this looks bad but it is not going to trigger a drug test.

All players know they have a 2-month window around training camp to be tested and it's why if you fail even 1 you have some serious issues.

If you pass that once a year test you can smoke freely until you need to purge again.

Why isn't it? Unless he buys anything, it is perfectly legal for him to walk around in the place. Hell, even for an NFL player it's legal to buy shit as long as he doesn't pop positive.

I know the testing period goes into the preseason but I don't know the exact point it ends. But you are right, the NFL drug testing policies are a joke and if he has already been tested he is basically good until next year.

Basically if you never get in the NFL program you can smoke 90% of the year. If you're in it, you're likely to get mutiple suspensions for that type of use.

Its just a bad look IMO. You should probably stay away from entering a store that's primary sale item is something the NFL suspends you for consuming.
