This felt a lot like an old Jerry kind of move. That doesn't make it wrong, we got Dez for the same reasons, but it means Stephen's more conservative management style is out the window.

I thought it was obvious from the predraft PC he wasn't. He seemed to be okay with him in the top 10, but maybe not at 4.

I think LBers like him are kind of a dying breed in the NFL as it is but I might be able to make an argument for him if we ran a 3-4 defense. In our 4-3 though he is a liability. He gets the Saban bump and that's why he has been projected so high. I've never been a fan.
