Damn Joseph went 14th overall.

I love him. I thought he'd be a 2nd rounder.

Maybe, just maybe the draft experts' views on him were higher than NFL scouts. It happens every single year. A player that they think is a top 5 pick "slips" into the late 1st or 2nd round.

Why would you doubt?

No one ever questioned his ability this entire time leading up to the draft.

Character was the only knock against him.

I agree. I really was hoping we would have him available for us at 34. Him, Jackson, or trade up for Lynch was my hopes after we got Elliot.
 
Joseph is a better DB than Jalen Ramsey.

The last few days I did hear criticism about his ability. But that was more an explanation as to why Stanley may jump him. Never about him dropping into the teens.

Because every year a player who is supposedly a virtual lock as a top 10 picks magically slips into the late 1st round or beyond.
