With the clock stopping after a 1st down, why not spike and keep the timeout just in case?
 
Just can't say I think Clemson truly won this on merit. Clearly not Saban's best work.

It is cool that a team like Clemson that has been waiting 35 years gets the title.

I think they earned it.

Alabama's offense has been average all year but they looked better beating up on overrated SEC teams.

They showed vs LSU, Washington, and even tonight how limited they were.

Once Clemson stopped giving up big plays, Bama found it difficult to move the ball.

I loved that Swinney called out that idiot Colin Cowherd.

I don't listen to Cowherd's show but I may have to find it just to hear his response.
