2015 College Football Chatter

Just wondering if it was going to be Jake Ruddock. As an Iowa fan I got so tired of seeing him conservatively throw a 3 yard pass on third and 6. I am curious to see if Harbaugh can get something out of him. If he does it would be a strong sign that Iowa may just need to fire the coaching staff.

That's funny, I was thinking about Iowa football last night since I saw that Tech put the Iowa transfer QB on scholarship this past week.

I know that at one point Ferentz was revered up there. Whats the feeling on him these days? I don't follow Iowas much.

He released a depth chart but he named Morris and Rudock as co-starters :shrug

I think everyone is starting to wear very thin of Ferentz. Student Season ticket sales are extremely low this year and they have been falling over the last couple seasons. The athletic department is a mess sending out surveys asking students if they care more about winning or the graduation rate. The whole thing is really pathetic. If Iowa doesn't put a really good football season together this year I could see some heads rolling. Ferentz has done great things at Iowa but his boring approach will only last so long when the team isn't winning games.

If you have two starters you really have none. Jake Rudock is a good kid but he just isn't a very good starting college QB. It's that our offensive coaching staff is that horrible about teaching him what to do on the field. He has physical tools but he rarely used them because his approach as a QB was over the top conservative.

Just a little reminder on Baker Mayfield.

Enjoy you cast-off, cry baby, loser QB. 1bigfan13

:lol

I was freaking livid at that....

Baker Mayfield was a turnover machine. Dude fumbled and played like an idiot on many occasions.

Here's to hoping the trend continues.

The hate is great in this one Obiwan.

To be fair, I wouldn't put myself in harms way for Texas Tech either.

BOOM!

The guy that couldn't win the job on a 4-8 team is now your starting QB. Man, that's gotta sting.

You would to... i mean will too.

Maybe so but there is a, possibility that he is better than Knight and that just may be enough coupled with Perine to keep the sticks moving.

Perine is enough to keep the sticks moving by himself. I'm sure that OU has enough to be productive on offense.

Baker may end up being good. He was a true freshman out there. He's just a little weasly. Not for leaving...because he is in real life rivalries aside.

You guys can continue to get hyped over the next few days, gameday is here for me now! :towel

Here's to hoping that the Big12 fails and falls apart causing the good guys to end up in the PACsomething

Terrible conference.

It's amazing how quickly the conference has fallen off.

I'm actually rooting for Oklahoma to move on to the PAC12 or Big 10.

Unless they are able to pull in a couple of notable programs from other conferences, I see no benefit to hanging around in the Big 12.

No disrespect to Cincinnati, UCF, or any other school rumored as Big 12 targets but those schools don't come remotely close to making up for the losses of Nebraska, A&M, or Missouri.
