Nit picky. That pass was inside the receiver's body mass. Very impressive throw.
 
I thought Newton was overrated coming out of college but he's made me eat my words this season, he's one football playing MFer. I think sometimes we fall into that trap of a high round pick being an immediate contributor but in the older days, you didn't necessarily expect immediate development at certain positions like QB.
 
I usually don't buy into this sort of stuff, but there may be something to the 'Palmer can't win in the playoffs' thing. It's pretty much a pattern at this point.

I'm listening to this game on satellite radio via the Cards radio broadcast and they are really criticizing him.

I don't know what happened on that turnover, but one of the guys on the broadcast team said that Palmer overreacted on the play and lost his composure when that much urgency wasn't required. Then the other guy working the broadcast said that Palmer had been "overreacting a lot" in these playoffs.

They must not be very happy with him.
