Now they are even more meaningless. There used to be build up to all the BCS bowls, now all the focus is on the playoffs.

But the BCS games were just as meaningless except for one. Now there are three meaningful games.

Got it. It feels different to me is all. The games felt bigger, to me, in previous years.

I love anything that is contrarian. It gives you such an advantage as far as preparation goes. I know booze doesn't like it but I love to see the triple option being excited smoothly.

Tennessee and Georgia Tech are close to agreement to face each other to open the 2017 season in Atlanta, Georgia Tech athletic director Mike Bobinski told the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Tuesday night.

The Vols and Yellow Jackets — who have been negotiating this deal for months — would meet on Labor Day Monday night as part of the 2017 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic, according to the AJC report.

In addition to being a primetime game with a wide audience, the 2017 Chick-fil-A Classic has another potential perk. It's scheduled to be played in the new stadium being built for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
 
I do like this Outback Bowl match up...this feels like a bowl game.

I'm kinda hoping Auburn stomps out Wisconsin since Wisconsin decided to lay down for Ohio State in the BIG10 CCG.

Me too. Since was the main justification for putting Ohio St. in over TCU. As much as I think Fla St is a fraud this year as well but at least they had the undefeated thing to hang their hat on after winning last year I want to see WI lose and O st. get curb stomped. I think TCU's beat down of W Va shows the SEC has nothing on them and the only team I was felt might be competition for them this year was Oregon. The way TCU is paying now if they played Baylor again, it wouldn't have been much of a game either. Man do I sound bitter or what?
Either way, I think Oregon wins it all this year. Go Ducks!
