Great batch of games on today. Luckily I am off from work and feeling pretty pretty lazy right about now
 
Man, I really wish TCU would've gotten a crack at the playoffs.
 
that hook and ladder in the backfield is the dumbest move ive ever seen..right off a turnover and they are crushing ole miss. Laughable

It is actually the hook and lateral derived from the original play which was a buttonhook pass pattern then lateraled to a trailing runner. I don't know-how it evolved to a hook and ladder.

Yup.

The Madden games on the SNES had it labeled as the Hook N' Ladder. It was actually a money play in Madden 94. :art
 
im not overly impressed with TCU either. 3 turnovers in the first half. They should be up 35-0

The turnovers are more a result of trying to be cute when it isn't necessary.

Ole Miss has no answer on either side of the ball, and TCU could've just played conventionally and be up 35-0. The turnovers aren't cause of anything Ole Miss has done.

This is an impressive performance.

Oh, and :laff @ Wallace and this "We're the SEC!" crap.

That was funny.

It's as if they think stitching an SEC patch on their jersey all of a sudden means they're awesome.

That's why the conference irks me. 4 programs are great yet the fans of the other 10 teams are always chiming in as of their teams are great as well.

It's a perversion like "tow the line" (It's 'toe the line' as in stepping up to the mark, derived from bare knuckle boxing). People say what they think they are hearing until it becomes common practice to say it wrong.
