I agree it's great, I just think it's tough with how teams can only play 1 game a week.

Exactly.

This isn't college basketball where you have tons of teams from all over.

Every single participant even if it were a 16 team playoff would be a quality program.

I doubt it would be just the top 8 get in. There will be a special rule in place if a non-P5 team meets certain requirements to be included as the 8th team. Just like in recent years where they only have to be top 12 or 15 or something.

But even still, what if UCF/FSU was the opening round in the Peach Bowl last year? I don't think UCF would have won, but damn if they couldn't hang and give them a scare. And if they got a few lucky bounces, who knows?

That is exactly my point as well. Those fags from TCU did that before they were in the Big 12.

Having the dream alive is what makes many programs around the country competitive. It may be a pipe dream but that is not the point, IMO.
